We are a quilt guild located in southern New Hampshire. Take a look at what we are doing, and we'd love to see you at a meeting!
October 17th Meeting
Our featured speaker this month is Janet Elia. Janet's quilts have been on display at local quilt shows, and juried into the Images Quilt Show, the Quilter's Gathering, Mancuso World Quilt Shows, Home Machine Quilt Show, Road to California, Houston International Quilt Festival and the AQS Quilt Weeks in Paducah, Syracuse, Chattanooga and Des Moines. There is a $5 speaker fee for members and a $10 fee for guests. Exact amount is appreciated!!!
There is no Show-N-Tell for this October meeting. Remember to bring your Show-N-Tell in November.
Information has been shared about upcoming workshops and 2025 Winter Retreat, check your inboxes!
Four different charities will be presenting during the meeting about what their specific charity does in the community and whom they specifically support. We will vote as a guild that night to select the charity with whom we will work with over the next 2 years to support. The main support of the charity chosen will be with the raffle tickets sold for the charity quilt!
Sign up for the Mystery Quilt! This is the last month to sign-up! Cost to participate is $5 (exact change appreciated!), and the money will be used for cash prizes during the reveal in May 2025! The pattern will have instructions for a wall, twin, and queen size quilt!
The October meeting is the last chance to sign up for this year's Challenge Quilt! The cost is $15, and covers the material and prizes that will be given out in February 2025!
Theme of the Fabric Swap is Orange and/or Brown! Please drop off your fat quarter in the Fellowship Hall before the meeting!
The Library will be open during the break!
A Quilted Gift - Last month over 30 completed quilts were donated to non profits including: Families in Transition, Upper Valley Haven, Manchester Mental Health, and Amoskeag Health. If you know of a non-profit that would benefit from our quilts please let us know. We received so many quilts at our September meeting, THANK YOU! We will also continue to have 3 yard quilt bundles as well as a variety of other fabric bundles with patterns in them.
Bring in 1-7 Black or Orange carefully cut 2 1/2" strips for a raffle ticket! (One raffle ticket per 2 1/2" strip)
