Club Offerings

Library

The AQG Library is a great resource of quilting books ranging from appliqué to precuts, hand quilting to machine quilting.

You can come by the library to say hello to Liana and Carol and to check out a book or two during the AQG meeting break.

The AGQ library stocks books in the following categories:

Challenge Quilt

Our talented member, Kristi, has worked to create a Challenge Project this year that provides some general guidelines/ requirements, and uses 3 fat quarters that are part of the purchased kit, and you can add up to 2 other fabrics of your choice. You can use a published pattern or create your own design! The completed Challenge entries should be brought to the February 2025 meeting in a bag. She will collect and set up the entries to be voted on, with cash prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place! Kits will be distributed at the November Meeting!

Mystery Quilt

Our talented member, Celeste, has once again designed a mystery quilt in 3 sizes - wall, twin, and queen - and will reveal it in 3 sets of instructions to participating members during the months of September, October, and November. The cost to participate is $5, and that money will be used for prizes that will be awarded to randomly selected participants that complete their quilt top and show at the reveal in May. Sign-ups for the 2024-25 Mystery Quilt will take place at our September and October Guild Meetings.

Sunshine

On behalf of the members of the guild, we send an appropriate note and gift to a guild member who has something to celebrate, such as a marriage or a birth, or something unfortunate has happened, such as a major illness, hospitalization or the death of a family member.

We all could use a little sunshine!
