About the Show
From historic blocks to bold and whimsical patterns, a range of styles and skill levels will be on display in a stunning array of contemporary fabrics. Guild members will display up to five quilts each from seasonal wall art, picnic-size throws, and practical bedding, exploring techniques such as appliqué, fast-n-furious, English paper-piecing and long-arming.
White-gloved volunteers will be standing by to show guests the backside of hanging quilts. Guests can also read each quilt maker’s personal narrative, giving a personal view behind the inspiration and challenge of each quilt.
Vendors will be lined up for local shopping. Raffle tickets will be sold for a handmade quilt, a new sewing machine, and lots of themed gift baskets to delight all ages. Proceeds benefit the Guild’s annual charity of choice and the New England Quilt Museum.
Admission is $10 for a weekend pass. Children 12 and under free. Held at Manchester Memorial High School in Manchester, New Hampshire.
