
Meeting Agenda
Door opens at 6:30pm. Please check in with our membership committee. If there is a fee for a speaker, you will be asked to pay then. There is a member/non-member rate, and exact amount is very much appreciated! You will be given a door prize raffle ticket for attending, and you will get an extra ticket if you wear your name tag!

After checking in, drop off your 2-1/2" fabric strips and get your raffle ticket(s). Raffle tickets are given for each carefully cut 2-1/2" strip of fabric (up to 7 max) in the color of the month. One luck winner takes home all the strips! Find out more here! If you are purchasing raffle tickets, they are 5 tickets for $1 or 18 tickets for $3.

Then you can make your way up to the Fellowship Hall, a room that is set up with our wonderful Library and a table for each of our committees. Please take a look at what they are offering! You can check out Cases for Caring, A Quilted Gift, Fabric Swap, Block of the Month, Retreats, Programing, and any Challenge and Mystery Quilt updates, plus more!

Our meeting starts at 7:00pm in the church sanctuary. There usually are some announcements and "guild talk", then the program is introduced for the night. After that part concludes, refreshments are provided back in the Fellowship Hall, and you have an opportunity to chat with presenters and the other guild members. After the break, we sometimes do a Show 'n Tell, where we get to Oooh and Aaah at all of our talented members' work! All skill levels welcome, please show what you've created! We end with the raffle drawings.

Purchase a pair of novelty stockings and place a small item inside just one of the socks. The total expense limit should be $15.
There are all kinds of little fun items you can tuck into a single stocking- lotions, potions, and notions of all kinds! Sewing, crafting, and quilting notions are certainly welcome, but use your imagination and make it fun! And yes- sweets and treats are always allowed!!

Bring a quilt - big or small- and show it off to inspire us for this upcoming year! We'd love to be able to display our members quilts on the pews for closer examination. We want to see the quilting! the stitching! the thread choices!!!! This is voluntary, but we think it would be so fun to be able to check out what our talented members are hiding up their quilty sleeves.

The Amoskeag Quilters Guild hosts two relaxing quilting retreats each year—a Winter Retreat and a Fall Retreat—both held at the peaceful St. Methodios Conference Center, less than an hour from Manchester, New Hampshire.

Our retreats are designed to give quilters the gift of time: time to work on projects, time to learn from one another, and time to enjoy the company of people who share a love of quilting.

February 19 / Guild Meeting - Barbara Graceffa Trunk Show
Lecture and Trunk Show: Barbara Graceffa is an award-winning quilter and teacher, talented interior decorator, and published author who has offered quilt programs to students in the United States, Canada, Europe, and the Middle East. She has shown her quilts in local and international juried quilt and art shows, in three museums in two countries, and has had five solo exhibits in recent years. Her quilts have also appeared in national print publications and on local cable and PBS TV. Her trunk show is about "Weekend Wonders: Quick and Easy Small Quilts." Who doesn’t love working on fast and simple small quilt projects that you can finish in a day or weekend? Join us for a hands-on workshop with Kristi Parker and discover how much you can do with your domestic sewing machine.
