Meets: Third Friday of each Month, September through May, at 7:15pm 

Meetings are open to all. Guests are welcome. If there is a special speaker, it may involve an admissions fee.

Mission Statement

The Amoskeag Quilters’ Guild was founded in 1988 by a group of quilters to provide the opportunity for the education, appreciation and advancement of the art of quilting.  It is a not for profit group devoted to preserving the heritage of quilting through the above stated opportunities.  Membership is open to anyone without regard to race, sex, religion or age, who has an interest in quilts and/or quilting.  As an important resource for all of the region quilters, the guild is devoted to the purpose of educating the general public through its exhibitions and public programs in the art of and history of quilts and quilting.

Amoskeag Quilters' Guild Biennial Quilt Show - Memorial High School

Sat. and Sun., March 24th & 25th, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Memorial High School, 1 Crusader Way, Manchester, NH 03103
"Amoskeag - Weaving & Piecing our History" features a wide array of quilts created by Guild members, including a queen size raffle quilt to benefit Emily's Place - a shelter for victims of domestic violence in central NH. The show also features vendors, door prizes, demonstrations, and raffles. Multi-day admission is $6. Snacks and beverages will be available, parking is plentiful, and the venue is handicap accessible.

The Amoskeag Mills produced textiles in Manchester for nearly 100 years.  Join us as we explore our connection to the mills by weaving hte history of the mills with the history of our guild and quilting.

Raffle tickets available for this quilt - all proceeds benefit Emily's Place, a shelter for victims of domestic violence in central NH.  The winning ticket will be drawn on Sunday afternoon, March 25, 2012.
