Mission Statement

The Amoskeag Quilters’ Guild was founded in 1988 by a group of quilters to provide the opportunity for the education, appreciation and advancement of the art of quilting.  It is a not for profit group devoted to preserving the heritage of quilting through the above stated opportunities.  Membership is open to anyone without regard to race, sex, religion or age, who has an interest in quilts and/or quilting.  As an important resource for all of the region quilters, the guild is devoted to the purpose of educating the general public through its exhibitions and public programs in the art of and history of quilts and quilting.

Join Amoskeag Quilters Guild on Saturday, February 18 in volunteer effort to make pillowcases for ConKerr Cancer

Members of the guild will have pillowcase kits ready for all volunteers to put together.  The pillow cases will go to children with cancer at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Hanover, NH.

All volunteers will need to bring: sewing machine, thread, and basic supplies such as seam ripper, 1/4 foot etc.  As well as an extension cord.
The guild will provide kit including all fabric and pattern for pillow case and volunteers to assist in making the pillow cases.

Note: if you have child appropriate fabric that you would like to donate for kits - we need 27" x width of fabric for the body and 10" x width of fabric for the band.

We will open the doors at 9am for everyone to set up and sew at the Emmanuel Baptist Church located at 14 Mammoth Road in Hooksett, NH.

Please let us know you will be joining us by sending an email to amoskeagqg@yahoo.com with ConKerr Cancer in the subject line.  If you have any questions, send an email to same address.
