Mission Statement

The Amoskeag Quilters’ Guild was founded in 1988 by a group of quilters to provide the opportunity for the education, appreciation and advancement of the art of quilting.  It is a not for profit group devoted to preserving the heritage of quilting through the above stated opportunities.  Membership is open to anyone without regard to race, sex, religion or age, who has an interest in quilts and/or quilting.  As an important resource for all of the region quilters, the guild is devoted to the purpose of educating the general public through its exhibitions and public programs in the art of and history of quilts and quilting.

AQG is on the move!

The Grace Episcopal Church located on the corner of Lowell Street and Pine Street in Manchester is our new location for all meetings (general, business, and workshops).  The lighting both natural and overhead is great in the room where both our guild meetings and workshops will be held.  One entire wall is made up of windows and the overhead lights really brighten up the space at night.  The space can accommodate 140.  There is also loads of free parking on Friday evenings and Saturday's in the municipal parking lot right next door.
Starting with the September 18th guild meeting, all of our meetings will be held at the Grace Episcopal Church making use of the Great Hall for our workshops and general meetings.  Grace Episcopal Church is located at 106 Lowell Street.  Entrance is on Lowell Street right across from the municipal parking lot.  You can park for free at the leased spaces every evening and weekends so no need to feed any meters.  You should be aware that although the entrance is at ground level that there are 8 or 9 steps into the Great Hall.  Our hope is that this space will meet all guild needs in the years to come.
See you in September at our new location - Grace Episcopal Church, 106 Lowell Street, Manchester, NH
