Meets: Third Thursday of each Month, September through May, at 7:00pm 
Meetings are open to all. If there is a special speaker, it may involve an admission fee.


Mission Statement

The Amoskeag Quilters’ Guild was founded in 1988 by a group of quilters to provide the opportunity for the education, appreciation and advancement of the art of quilting.  It is a not for profit group devoted to preserving the heritage of quilting through the above stated opportunities.  Membership is open to anyone without regard to race, sex, religion or age, who has an interest in quilts and/or quilting.  As an important resource for all of the region quilters, the guild is devoted to the purpose of educating the general public through its exhibitions and public programs in the art of and history of quilts and quilting.

Welcome

A group of ladies met in 1988 as a result of a common interest—quilting. From that meeting sprung the Amoskeag Quilter's Guild. Since then, we've grown to a membership of over 150 participants. Together, we meet to share our love of quilting and to learn from each other. We also commit our time and knowledge and joy of quilting in the form of charitable contributions and service to our community. Oh, and there's the food, fun, and camaraderie!





          
This bronze statue is entitled "The Mill Girl" and created in honor of the
women who worked in the Mills.  The statue is located on 
Commercial Street, Manchester NH.
